ABOUT

Frank Hill, a well-known and highly respected contact for builders and contractors working within the construction industry in Hobart, left Stramit in 1991 to start his own commercial roofing business called ‘Frank Hill Roofing Contractors.’ Starting with only two contractors employed by Frank originally, the business steadily grew over time into a well-respected and widely known company in the roofing industry, not only in Southern Tasmania but throughout the entire state of Tasmania. Over the nearly 20 years that Frank owned and operated the business, he achieved great success by completing roofing projects on some of Hobart’s most iconic buildings. These include Sacred Heart College, New Risdon Prison, Hobart International Airport, Hobart Aquatic Centre, Sandown Village, Barrington Lodge, Tower Road Refurbishment, Friends School Childcare, Transend, and the Motors Showroom in Hobart.

In 2019, Frank made the heartfelt decision to step down from his business and retire. He sold the company to Scott and Kaylee Coppleman, the owners of Skyline Roofing & Sheetmetal, a well-known and respected commercial roofing business based in Northern Tasmania. Since taking over the reins, Scott and Kaylee have worked tirelessly to continue the strong legacy attached to FHRC’s name, dedicating themselves to maintaining its excellent reputation while growing and expanding the business even further.

FHRC is part of Roofing Group Tas Pty Ltd.
